Restart After Rebuild

Well I'm at that point. The wife helped me get the motor in this last weekend and all is about buttoned up. I put oil and transmission fluid in last night and I'm reviewing the last few checklists to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.

Leland, That piston thing kind of bothers me right about now. Startup anxiety I suppose.
I know there has to be something lurking out there. I just hope it's a small something.

My question is this: Should I pull the fuel pump relay and crank it over a few times to build oil pressure first? Or just crank her up? Is there anything else I should do before sending fuel and spark?

As always Thanks for the advice. I hope to hear that magical sound again soon.
