Don't tilt the inner and outer rings, until you are prepared to remove the ball bearings.
If you are going to remove the ball bearings for inspection, notice that the wide part of the inner ring lines up with the narrow part of the outer ring. It will have to be reassembled this way, or it will 'lock up'. Scribe a mark across all three rings to make sure you line them back up the same.
