i Had a fuel leak on the hose next to the fuel pump so i wasn't putting to much gas in so i could fix it without draining to much out.

well i ran out of gas and the car wont run now.
it starts and idles but when you step on the accelerator it sputter spits and back fires.

no acceleration over 1500 rpms it just sounds like a lot of air sucking sound in the air-box but no revs.

i put a new fuel filter on and cleared out the fuel accumulator.
all my injectors mist.

it just bogs to nothing when you rev the engine.

did i blow the air box to crap when i started it back up is that why what the butterfly goes to let air in is dies?
