Chuck, Not sure if anyone makes boxed headers in 1 3/4. Maybe Ben at M&K would make some. With 1 3/4 you are not lowering your torque #s.
As far as building a monster beast motor from your 3.2, you would be better served with a 3.6 transplant. The stock or slightly modified motors seem to out live the monster high strung variety.
