What's the upgrade path going to be for all those bleeding edge types? What happens when iPhone V2 comes out? Can you upgrade your phone using your existing contract or do you need to open a brand new account?
I read in the NYTimes that the iPhone won't function as a stand alone iPod. So if you upgrade to V2 then your $600 iPhone becomes an expensive paper weight.
