I'm working on an 1986 N/A 944. The rear main seal, apparently, has had a change of part numbers.

Is the original part #: 999.113.264.40 ?

Has it been superceded by #: 999-113-426-41 ?

Putting in the original part# to pelican shows that it's no longer available.

Pulling up the second part# says "flywheel seal - 944/all". but in the parts diagram, a 944 isn't anywhere to be found.

Is this the correct part # to use when ordering a new rear main seal?
