Sounds as if you have EFI. If you have great documentation on the engine, you may want to trade it for an otherwise stock drivetrain with cash. This way you could make some money on the engine and sell the car complete. One need only look at the sale of Derek Cooper's 89 convertible with a $40,000 engine build for low $30s to realize that you will rarely, if ever, get you money back.
