After not being able to drive my 964 for about a month, i had to take out the DME relay and knock it a couple of times before the engine would start. I guess it was stuck. After driving for about 10 to 15mins, i was going to take out the DME relay to check. But it was so hot that i was almost not able to touch it. Is it a relay problem or is the pump causing the relay to get hot? I know the relay gets warm on normal operations but this was beyond warm.
