Hose Options

That hose is in the return line, so it's low pressure. The funky metal loop it connects to is the PS oil cooler. You could cut off the fitting at the other end of the little rubber hose with a tubing cutter and replace it with a piece of hose and a couple of clamps, but that's up to you (ask your FLAPS for PS return hose or transmission oil cooler hose). A new return hose assembly that contains that little rubber hose on one end and a banjo fitting on the other end is about $60 from our sponsor.

Size? If you don't have a caliper handy, just get your open-end wrenches out and see what the OD of the metal line is and get some hose with the appropriate ID.
