That wierd foam tubing which goes through the engine compartment up to the rear defrosters is old and has actually burned through in my 67 912. Right now I wrapped up the holes in duct tape, but I'd like a better solution. I haven't gone to the hardware store yet but has anyone found good replacement tubing? I was thinking of that grey insulation tubing for hot water pipes, but I'd have to tape or glue shut the slit up the side. Any ideas?
