3.6l clutch conversion part #'s
i have a 70 911 that i bought a 95 993 engine for. i have the wiring, mount, exhaust & other pieces except for the clutch. i am going to use the 95 993 g50 trans i got with the engine. the bellhousing is not been shortend, but if need be i have the ability to do that. i know if i dont shortend the bellhousing i will need to cut the torsion tube.
this is my question: what are my options for lightwieght single plate clutch, pressure plate & t.o bearing. i am not looking for a phone number to a vender to call, i am looking for the part numbers and original application if possible. if the flywheel wieght & disk diameter is availble, that would be a bounus. i know there are vendors that have these items on there shelf, but the mark up is crazy, and they dont like giving out the part numbers & loosing a sale. i can understand that, so this probly goes out to those people that have paid the big bucks & are willing to post or email me the part numbers. even if the parts are aftermarket thats ok. let me know what your experiance has been with the clutch feel, bite, durability etc... i know this is lot to ask, but isnt that what these forums are for?? thank you very much in advance for any help, input or info you may have
