Not bike related though....
I have used my Snap-On air powered side grinder almost daily for over 20 years with never a problem. It spins around 23,000 rpm and cuts metal pretty quick. I have heard of the disks shattering so I am always careful to protect it from being dropped, and replace the disks regularly.... Today I had some free time and am working on a secret project that involves the rear bumper on my Jeep, and a hydraulic lift for my KTM.... I head a funny noise, and felt a tug on my arm.....
Pulled off my safety glasses and blood was shooting from my left arm near the wrist.... Since i was at the shop alone, I made a beee line for the phone and dialed 911..... Ripped the USB cord from the printer for a tourniquet and was able to stop the bleeding.... Ambulance was in my parking lot in less than 2 minutes...
Looks like I will be using a different grinder to finish the project...
Gory pic for those that like that sort of thing....... Yeah I know... just a flesh wound... It will buff right out.
