Lots of selection on Loopnet, but like all the other websites, it's mostly leftovers.
As soon as an agent gets a listing, he will shop it to his normal clients. If there are no takers, then it's circulated around the office. Only after a couple of weeks will they let the whole world in on it and post the listing on-line.
I've looked at plenty of properties on Loopnet, but my actual purchases have come from a agent's new listing, or a word of mouth deal. You might see properties a bit sooner on a broker's website, but even then it has already been shown around quite a bit.
The most profitable properties will already be sold before they go on line.
