I just posted another reply about this. THis also happend to me. What worked for me was to look at the plug that connects the chasis wiring loom to the steering coumn. In my opinion this is an underestimated problem. When you look at you will see that one side has all the wires coming out of it and the other side has none. The problem is that one end does not have enough pressure to keep the two sides of the plug fully connected. What you need to do is smush them together or clean out the pins depending on how big the problem is. By the way, the parking lights (turn signals that stay on when car is parked) is on a different wire (I am pretty sure) and the blinker lights are guess where? on the end of the plug that does not seem to like to keep stuck together. BTW, it looks like the plug in the circuit board in the engine compartment.
