I had to go deep into the attic to dig this up, but here it is. Man, I had this article almost committed to memory back in '87.
The Slope Nose option, just that one option, was almost $24K! That was a lot of dough back then. That was enough to buy a whole Mazda MX-6 Turbo (one of the other cars tested in the issue). With enough left over to buy most of another one of the test cars (Buick Regal)!
