I've spoke with the Vehicle Inspection folks and they say nothing needs to be done with the car in order to bring it back to the US. In fact they do all necessary paperwork to get it in the country.
Considering how picky they are and that they are the final approval on whether it gets shipped or not I tend to put faith in their answer.
Also, Eric stated he thought 10K was a bit high. Is that the general consensus here?
