mfbRSV, I'm getting to be the same way. It seems the constant raving of the PP's is biting all the original believers in the bud. Had they not spouted out about the rewards of the tires, the demand to fulfil would leave Michelin maintaining their QC. But now they can't mold the rubber fast enough. It seems they are slipping. No pun intended.

In a somewhat related story, my dad worked for a very short term at Kelly Tires near my hometown. In great demand, the bias-ply tires were leaving with less than the advertised 3-ply construction. Many snow tires left with two-ply construction. Some one-ply. It would be nice to be certain that motorcycle tires will be given no such overlooking. But when you see instances like this, it's hard not to question. At the same time, do you realize how many tires they make and this is one of HOW MANY tires they sell?

The recall was for the fronts, not the rears. Oddly enough, earlier this year, my Spanish front PP wore prematurely. I'm not sure if it was truely just a Frenchie tire issue. Or is that 'freedom tire?'
