My local BMW dealer charged me for a replacement tyre and said they would send the 'Failed' tyre to Michelin for examination.
If Michelin!!!!!!!!!! think the tyre is faulty the BMW dealer will refund my money.
I am a bit put out to say the least, as far as I see it Michelin have 2 recalls running at the moment, one for a front tyre one for a rear.
Both recalls are due to de-lamination of the tyre (what I think has happened to mine)
I think BMW should have replaced my trye free of charge and then took the case up with Michelin on their behalf.
I will have to wait and see what happens
