If at all possible, get a friend to help, as it's really a 2 man job. While the glass/old rubber is out, be sure to put a little paint on the metal lip area, since rust seems to start in that area. Also, if you need to do anything to your headliner, now's the time. Do you have a repair manual/step-by-step instructions?
