It's an old story ...and true.
My nephew is a US Immigration Officer involved in Detention & Deportation.
Though he currently works up North, they (offices) all swap stories.
Similar to cops being outgunned by criminals, but there (southern border) they have actually encountered Mexican troops (or those dressed/armed as such)
....as our Government twiddles its thumbs.
