Thanks for the idea...I don't seem to get any defrost action from the wires in the window, which made me think it was something more than breaks in the wires. I will have to take a closer look. Maybe there is a wiring issue elsewhere.

P.S. i did some searching on older threads about the Cruise Control, seems like a lot of times it is a clutch electrical connection issue under the pedal. Either pulling up on the pedal helps or a connection is not being made.
