Excuse my ignorance in this matter but I am going to ask this question anyway.
Is that sprocket a driven or a drive sprocket? Is the "chipping" damage at the top of the sprocket on the left side of the tooth from contact entering or leaving the chain?
Just trying to understand how this could happen..
