The previous owner of my 67 took out the little rod under the steering wheel horn cover (it's stock) because it had a tendency to honk while turning left. I don't have the part or know what it looks like. Can someone give me some dimensions or suggest how to keep it from honking when I don't want it to? I think the reason was grounding to the main steering wheel so perhaps it could be made of wood or plastic. I haven't looked closely as to how it works so may need to be metal to function. Thanks,
