Cold Compression test- out of car?
With a 2.0L motor out of the car (69T) with tranny and starter motor attached do you think it is safe to do a cold compression test on an engine. Would there be enough residual oil in the bearings and cylinders to protect for 4 to 5 revolutions on each cylinder? There a no carbs attached. . The actual pressures might be a bit erroneous but I might get some idea of consistencey....might I? Any thoughts.
