How unreal is that? Musharraf has a tiger by the tail and is fighting to keep Pakistan from disintegrating.
Watching CNN, they play up the martyrdom of Bhutto as a great democracy loving freedom fighting individual. Their approach is abit calmer. They also tend to blame Musharraf as being a dictator in league with radical islamists, without realizing the enormous pressures on him to maintain some sort of stability in his country.

Part of your problem is watching CNN. Over here in Europe its a greatly different prospect. I turn on BBC and hear one thing, Sky and its close but the liberal idiots at CNN are trying to flavour the news to fit their perception of reality. Stop watching CNN or mix it with data from other outlets that are not biased like CNN is!
Regarding President Bush, anyone might look badly had they received some difficult intel when this happened. Musharraf and his minions very well might be the tiger that is tearing everything apart over there. A few weeks/months will tell a lot...
