Wonder how do P.cars behave in extreme hot weather, like 115° F or over 50 °C. (Just curious, the fact that we didn't see any Porsches in Egypt probably has nothing to do with the temperature!)

BTW remember the 1969 S I mentioned in an old thread, I'll go see her again on Saturday... got the jitters already.

Had a Belgian "oldtimer car" website giving advice to me that "it's all in the confidence" and "best is to wait for the lil' ol' man selling his never-driven car that's been stored away for a quarter century" n "there's plenty of oldtimer cars still around" .... 911 S???? Oh well. BTW, the seller did 2nd in class at Le Mans vintage 12 hours race last week, does his own wrenching... Maybe that reconditioned engine is .. very good. I'll be sure to get an expert, though. I'm aiming for max. price $20000, sorry €23272.04 (we're all in training, learning to use the Euro!).
