Interesting... the guy who did my car ran a wire from the connector plug along to the middle of the dash, then through a hole to the underside of the dash. This is where I could supposedly attach it to the stereo. I dunno
I'd rather just get the right connector / amplifier (if not too expensive) and do it properly, seeing as I paid the equivalent of $700 for the screen anyway.
I know I need to whip the thing out and check myself, but if there's a special connector I need and someone can tell or show me what it is, I'd prefer to find it whilst I'm in the States. You guys have it so good with prices, esp with the exchange rate at the moment. I spent today at the mall fueling the US economy. Nice
Mark - if you can get a picture, I'd be really grateful. Otherwise it's the $35 aforementioned antenna thingy and the sodding screen goes on eBay...
