I'm in FL. my 88 AC blows 34 degrees and is the factory unit. In the long run, the early cars will hold value much better than the 996, hell, 993s are bringing more dollars and even 964 turbos bring close to the same money as 996TT. For work (I sometimes have to take people with me), I drive a Jag XJR, and that AC will freez you out. You see more people trying to trade the 996s for early cars than the other way around
