I think I'd respectfully disagree there. From what I've read, Mobil 1 has been one of the bigger changes in formulation these last few years. Sure, Porsch may still recommend for new cars, but they are different animals.
There are too many boutique oils out there that will do better for our cars. I was going to run Brad Penn 20/50 for only my break-in, and then switch to full syn like Redline or RP, but I think I'm sticking with it. It's a semi-syn, which is what I've run for the last 6 yeats (different brand) and I was pretty impressed with how my engine looked when I took it apart for rebuild.
Not that I'm trying to be cheap here, but it is also about 1/2 the price of Mobil 1.
