Try cleaning up the metallic piece. Mine looked like that but I was able to use a wire brush on it. That was 3 years ago, and it is a track car.
The other corrosion looks like it might be from leaking coolant. I'd just brush it off and check all the coolant hose clamps and hoses for that matter. I replaced all my hoses. Don't forget the ones behind the block for the heater.
The banjo bolt hose is easy to replace. It hardens and cracks in time. You need one that will stand 15 psi and heat. The factory stuff is not expensive and is sold by the foot.
The big vacuum line looks good to me from your picture. I also found corrosion on the triple steel tubing under the manifold. I wire brushed that mess off also.
