Is it difficult to retrofit a six pin CDI to a '76 car?Would it be easier or cheaper to use an MSD to fire the sc dizzy? I heard I need a "high vibration blaster" coil to do that.

gungadin,
Nope. The '76-'77 wiring is very similar to the SC's and will not need much work to install a 6-pin CDI in your car. MSD is much cheaper than Bosch CDI. But I find the Bosch CDI easier to hook up by just following the factory wiring diagrams.
