No head stud issues because all of that was fairly new and had been coated properly with anti-seize upon being rebuilt. However, certain oil line connections, particularly those going to the oil cooler thermostat didn't want to come off, at least without kinking, binding, breaking.....you name it. Ben was there and it was frustrating for both of us. Anyway, just understand that when you start trying to get certain connections undone that haven't been apart for 20 or more years, there very well may be issues. As I said before, your final decision will probably be determined by how smog-legal your car has to be. I felt that the more smog equipment I could remove from the car (properly) and set it up correctly after the changes, the better off I would be.
