Clark, I think the additional weight associated with the development of the 911 engine is due to the increasingly heavy ancilliaries/electronics/induction systems,etc.
As for weights of bare engines I'll assume you mean complete, ready to install but without oil.
I'll start the ball rolling with some of the earlier engines (I've included the 912 for comparison):
Up to '68 Aluminium sand-cast:
912 130 kg
911T,L,S 184 kg
1969-71 2.0/2.2L Magnesium high pressure -cast:
911T 176 kg
911E/S 182 kg
Others will no doubt chip in with the later versions.
