I did feel those shift stops when I was taking it apart and moving it around, just checking things out. I was concerned about losing its place or shifting gears or whatever, it's my first time. So I didn't move it to hard or far.
When I re-assembled everything I only went to the first stop, it looks like I should of went further to the second. I will try that tomorrow morning.
It is really easy to do, and the shifter is a lot more solid with the new bushings.
I guess in hindsight the coupler would have to move forward or backwards to change gears on me.
Better safe than sorry, I have learned.
