just got done installing a crane hi6 multi-spark ignition with a crane ps91 coil on my 1974 914 2.0 with stock fuel injection. was previously running a bosch blue coil along with a crane xr700 electronic ignition. the car ran ok with the previous setup, but occasionally stumbled at idle with rich smelling exhaust. i suspected a weak ignition. was recommended the crane system while keeping the xr700 and replace the bosch coil. car started immediatly, and settled into a very smooth idle. no stumbling, no rich smelling exhaust. revved smoother than ever. haven't been able to take a drive yet, but looking forward to it. system also has built in adjustable rev limiter. very cool.
