Do a 26.8mm and a 19mm rear. I really liked this setup on my now sold '87 n/a. The 944 has an inherent understeer characteristic and the 30mm front will make this worse. The 26.8mm i found was a perfect match for the 19mm rear with equal sized tires ( i was using 225's on the same 968 wheels for auto-x).

The 30mm does fit with the correct bushings but also requires a larger center bushing clamp (two of them).
