Interesting. With any luck this board will still be around in 2018 and we can all check back to see how well (nor poorly!) we're doing according to our plans!

For myself, in 10 years I'll be 42. I deliberately put my music career 2nd in work priorities to grow my company in the hopes that at some point in my 40s I'll be able to more or less retire from the company (maybe work one day a week) and just supervise things, while still drawing a very good salary, so I can focus on my music career (which doesn't pay and even if I worked 18 hours days at it would likely only pay the equivalent of a minimum wage job).

So the plan is to have 1 more kid (we have one so far, a year and a half old), grow the company and more or less retire from it, but that might take 15 years. In 10 years I expect I'll be working my ass off and it will be paying very well.
