Nah, you won't have any fit issues with powdercoating. I've done it before, it's not a problem.

I know you are a ways down the road with painting the trim, and this is a track car, but IMO you should give a couple of powdercoaters a call. You have everything off the car already, now is the time to do it right.

Here in So. Cal., I know all those pieces could be done for $250 or less. If your local prices are the same, I think you should really consider it. Just drop it all off as it is, pick it up a week later and it'll look great forever.

You are going to have some chipping with the paint, esp. on the door frames, where people wearing rings open and close the doors by the frame, you sometimes close it with keys in your hand, etc.

Your car is going to look great with its new paint, etc. Do the trim right!
