11 seconds is very quick. IIRC Matt Mladin on his 4 stop victory, the last superbike Daytona 200 you know the one where Dave Sadowski was saying there was no way Mladin was going to win

, was doing 11 second pit stops to Honda's 15-19 second stops. I timed them and there was a significant differential between the Suzuki and Honda camps pit stops that year and that contributed to Mladin using a 4th stop. IIRC that was also the last time you could fly down the pit lane, no speed limiter so the 4th stop's impact was really diminished. If I'm correct abotu the aforementioned, BMW achieved quite a bit with 11 second pits stops because the Ducati 848 and Honda factory teams seemed to be the only ones doing stops near 11 seconds. Correct me if I'm wrong because unfortunately the pit stops were not covered as well as in the past and didn't allow me to utilize my stop watch to full effect.
