Hi, as long as the offset is the same or close I don't see any problem with the swap. Tires may be more expensive though with 16" wheels and your speedometer may be a little off as well. As far as your tire size that you want I can't be of any help there. I am running 15" fuchs on my 83 944 that are 8 wide in the rear and 7 wide in the front. Your cookie cutters are 7 wide front and rear.
