I, like many forum members, have considered the SCWDP a light-hearted attempt at humor by our longhood-envious forum brothers. It's all one big joke, right? I'm here to tell you:
it's no joke. Today I pulled into a gas station, inserted my card in the Pay-at-the-Pump slot and patiently waited for approval on the LCD screen. What happened next can only be described as shocking. An image of a 911 appeared on the screen!!! Not just any 911, but an SC. The safety bumpers were clearly visible! This sent a chill down my spine that is difficult to express in words. I even looked up over the canopy to see if the black helicopters were circling. Of course, their tactics are subliminal so they have disguised the SC image, somewhat, with Martini Racing style stripes and the fuel filler in the wrong location.
Now luckily, I was filling up my truck, not the 911. I suspect there may be a detection device that spots early 911's and injects a gummy substance into the fuel that will plug up the jets on a Weber carb before you can reach the street. This whole operation - I'm certain - is controlled by Leland over in OPECland. He's obviously struck a deal with the other evil doers - BIG OIL - and has patched into their computer control system right from his tent. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Respectfully submitted, Curt.
