Went to sleep last night with the realization that my car is pushing the 200K miles mark (190,959 good last 3 numbers!) and that rust has ‘appeared’ in the front suspension pan, I dreamed that I win a piece of the state lotto and that I was sending my car to Autometrics for a full-body repair, powdercoat and to make it a 70’s ST, then installed a 2.8 twin-plug engine with all the upgraded suspension, oil cooling needs, etc…. and then I wake up!! I really should change my diet because I don’t even play lotto and I have to work for a living.
Regarding the engine.. what rebuild-kit do you recommend? I have seen many suppliers and prices out there.. I would like to keep the 2.4 but probably go to S specs, what it takes (aside from a large amount of money)? Leave CIS or replace with Webers? Any good source of information for a DIY?, too many questions, too little time.
The car will be a daily driver; I had enough race driving when I was younger (6 years of rallies and 2 of track in Europe)
Thanks in advance.
