Andre, I don't really have a problem with the tires at all and handling is fine. I just want a wider tire that is all. About the sidewalls, I remember when I was in Germany that some Porsche's had wide tires which had a little of a round look in the sidewalls. It did not seem that the TUV had any issues with that, but then again I did not had to worry about that. I guessing you have to go thru a TUV like inspection. I would just swap tires like you stated, just for the inspection.
