Hey Andre- if you have to buy new tires, why not just go with the 245 size? It fits just fine on a 78-89 car, it's the right size for that rim and they both cost about the same. Never saw a car come out of the Porsche factory with 16x9 Fuchs that had a 225, only the 245/45.
