I had a similar issue in my '89, and finally tracked it down to..... the big power cable going to the starter. Yep. No kidding.
I had removed and reinstalled my starter in order to add a flywheel lock when I was changing my belts, and when I hooked everything back up I routed the largest cable in such a manner that the side of the cable was loosely touching the thread of the other electrical post on the starter. Over time this threaded post wore a neat hole in the side of the cable due to vibration and movement. The result was that when I took a really hard right, the cable would shift enough that the post and the interior of the cable made contact, closing the circuit and stalling the car.
I'm not saying this is necessarily what is going on with your car, but it might be worth checking out.
