I think that avenue is too easy -- I think RDM wouldn't go down that route since there is quite a cheezy element to that. Then again, he pulled of the Pegasus story arc which was in TOS, so he may find a way to pull it off.

My take on the Kara Thrace finding earth / the missing 3 months: wormhole type travel. But that doesn't take into account the squeaky clean ship.

Also I think people are missing some of the subtleties. Such as when the Hybrid says, "You are the harbinger of death Kara Thrace. You will lead them all to their end." She did not say Kara would lead them to their death, or say who "them" is. Which leaves a huge opening for discussion...
Well, she did say harbinger of DEATH. But what's to say the the hybrid is lying to Kara because she doesn't want to see her reach her destiny??

Here is another subtlety: The hybrid says, "The dying leader will know the truth of the opera house." Many assume this to be Roz, since for 3 seasons all we heard was about her dying ass. BUT... didn't the leader of the rebel cylons just die? (shot by Athena) And didn't she lie on the table, having visions while she died? And what were those visions? (is HE the cylon??)
I think the opera house reference can only apply to the people who have experienced the vision or who were in the vision. Thus, that would be: Prez Roz, Athena, Six, Baltar, and Hera. I think Prez Roz best fits the 'dying leader' reference. (Baltar would be a close second).

Last one: The hybrid says, "The children of the one reborn shall find their own country." Many think this is about Kara, thinking she was reborn from a death in the nebula. Does Kara have children? Maybe from when she was in the baby factory? OR...
1) Maybe it's about the 3 that is about to be unboxed, or 'reborn'.
2) Maybe it's about the Admiral, who was atheist but is now 'reborn' into religion.
3) ?
I think the "children of the one reborn" can be reference to:
4) Hera
5) Tyrol and Cally's child
6) Six's baby (still in the womb)
7) Any child of the skinjob cylons, since they have the ability to be 'reborn.'
8) or, as you say, ??

Interesting discussion and still an excellent show -- the best fiction (and scifi) going on today, IMHO.
