An update:

SCOTITUDE has a pair of cross-arm style power window regulators for sale on another thread (from an SC, presumably a 1980 model, see pic below) and was kind enough to weigh a regulator and motor, together. He came up with a weight of 6 lbs. I have weighed a manual version of the cross-arm regulator and found a weight of 3 lbs. 12 oz. The crank handle and hardware weigh another 2 oz. which is probably less than the wiring and switches required for the power windows. So, it looks like changing the power windows out and installing manual ones would save between 4 and 5 pounds, for the pair. It's probably closer to 5, given the wiring, which I may weigh later.

I'd be curious now to know the weight of a manual parallel arm regulator, to see if it is any lighter than the later style.
