I've found out where the noise is coming from. by the way its a 1970 911.
The cable is rubbing on the cv joint!!
I've also noticed that the cable seems to be missing the plastic bushing that is positioned where the guide clamp is! the cable is loose in the guide clamp and I was also would like to know if the last guide nearest to the clutch arm is open or if it is a closed guide? My guide is open and I'm not sure if a piece broke off. Any pics of this area or info would help me a lot. What should I do?
