I read a lot, and this is the one thing that has frightened me big time (housing)
Allowing Fannie and/or Freddie to fail is not an option. The housing market would go into an ice age. Transactions would fall off the cliff and prices would plummet EVERYWHERE. Let's not think about the fallout to the economy.
Let this be a reminder the credit crisis is NOT over. It's far from over, folks.
