How many women in the world tie love/$$ together? They might call it "security" or just desiring a good standard of living, support for future kids, etc., but with most all women "love" is very connected to $$. Successful guys are magnitudes more attractive to women than guys who haven't figured out how to make dough in the world.

Obviously relationships are more complicated than just this dynamic, but it looms large. The real question would be the line between prostitutes and *normal women*. What do you call the millions of women in the world married to boring, not-handsome guys who make lots of money? How about abusive jerks who screw around on them, but provide a fat lifestyle? Those are all hookers to me, unless they are really in love. Call girls, (and I'm not talking about street-corner ho's), have just cut out the BS mairage part and take the $$. It's a lot more honest in many situations, for the hooker and the client, if you ask me. Cheaper for the dude, as well, by millions in some cases.
